Welcome to Active Human’s 10th newsletter and Happy New Year Active Humans.
I hope, this year you make habit-based resolutions rather than goal-oriented resolutions.
The good hack is to commit to the process and keep track of some measurable metrics. For example, I want to lose 10 kgs of body weight is a goal-based resolution and can fail very quickly, but I need to go for exercise at least 4 times a week is a habit-building resolution that will benefit in a lot of other life aspects and just not 10 kgs of weight loss.
By now, you know most brands have upped their marketing budget and are creating a lot of FOMO and pressure for you to buy their supplements. Mostly they are targeting weight loss and people’s insecurity. Infact they also know that this is the best time of the year to make the highest sales because low-IQ people fall for these products during the first month of the year very easily.
But the problem is most people don’t know lifestyle diseases are just symptoms, there are always some root causes behind them. There can be multiple root causes for one major problem or there can be only one root cause to give you multiple symptoms.
Look at this image, For example, depression can be caused by many different factors. Also, Inflammation as a root cause can give you many symptoms and different diagnoses, including depression.
Being an R&D professional and after working with so many doctors, nutritionists, and clinical dieticians, I have understood that there are 5 major root causes behind most chronic and lifestyle diseases. These are:
Insulins Resistance
Inflammation
Oxidative Stress
Hyperactive Nervous System
Bad Gut health (Leaky Gut and Dysbiosis)
These 5 root causes in silos or in combination can cause 150+ kinds of lifestyle diseases including Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Obesity, Thyroid Issues, PCOS, IBS, IBD, Migraines, High Cholesterol, Autoimmune Diseases, Depression, Anxiety, Joint Pains, Muscle Pains and some kinds of Cancers.
Also, one root cause pushes the body to develop another one, for example, bad gut health can cause inflammation and inflammation can cause oxidative stress.
Getting to know your root cause requires advanced blood tests and treatment requires commitment and patience. Before falling for any supplement trap this year, before you put any garbage in your system, I wanted to bring this knowledge to you. Your body is the most important asset you have right now, Hope this year onwards you will treat it with respect.
Coming back to root causes, We have already learned about Gut health in the last 4 newsletters, and going forward we are going to learn about remaining root causes and ways to manage them.
Also, you will be proud to know at Active Human, we are starting “Reverse Your Chronic Disease (RYCD) Module where we take a scientific approach to arrive at your root cause using blood repost analysis (advance tests) and then set protocol to reduce and cure your root cause. It is a process and not a quick fix and it takes 3-6 months to totally understand and work on the root cause and start seeing results. It is the “Treat your root cause, just don’t suppress your symptoms” approach. If you know someone who has any kind of lifestyle disease, please help me spread the word and help them reach out to me at manishkbhagwani@gmail.com. We are a team of healers who follow a science-based functional medicine and nutrition approach.
With this, I wish you “My Awesome Active Human” a lot of good health, a positive mindset, deep sleep, less toxicity, and much more activity for the coming years.
See you, Next Saturday,
